About us
We are specialists. We are doing nothing but trips to steep terrain. For the last 27 years. Limited perhaps but we are really proud of it. Winding roads, strange signs and complicated language. Things happen, too much snow, too little snow, invisible trails, bad trail plan, outdated maps, overbooked hotels and restaurants. All this and much more is commonplace in mountain areas and we like it and we love to solve difficult alpine situations. With experience, knowledge and a great many contacts in each and every valley we find solutions to all problems.
History
It did not start in a garage but with a discussion in a park outside Stockholm. The discussion continued at the former Royal Hunting ground Djurgården. Alpine Legends was formed under an old fruit tree on a warm summer day in 2006. The ambitious Erik, recently graduated from Gothenburg School of Economics telephoned the most experienced Peffe on the advice of Johan, whom Peffe thought should be part of it, because he is the best ski trip sales person he ever met. Peffe also believed that Henrik should be part of it, as he had long wondered when, not if, it was time to start doing the right thing. With a little help from some friends we registered the company, arranged a post box and were set to begin in Peffe’s flat on third floor at Gullmarsplan. Oops, we found we were missing a star. On our wish list was Anna which is why we immediately phoned her in from Lucerne. Then Erik thought that it was time to move to a better location. With a little additional help from other friends, we quickly renovated the old bakery on Västmannagatan, 10 min from the City Central Station. And so we were five in our new fine office and it felt good. That it feels good depends in part on our team coach and Olympic rower Henrik Nilsson who trills us uphill and downhill.
Alpine Legends Partners
We are a privately owned company. Chances are that you’ll meet the owner. It goes without saying that we care about you and your company. Our ambitions are high and your trip should not just be good, it should be legendary.
